WHAT IS TRAUMA?

Trauma is a response to a terrible event like an accident, physical injury or natural disaster. It also occurs in the ongoing situations like abuse and medical procedures. When bad things happen, it can take a while to get over the pain and feel safe again. Most people recover from it naturally. However, some people would find it very hard to move on with their lives without getting help.

I will provide you with a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to talk through the difficulties you experience as a result of what happened to you and identify the steps that need to be taken to achieve your goals.

However, talking is not always enough in treating trauma because it often causes not only psychological symptoms but physical ones, too. We can use body psychotherapy to help you better understand the impact of trauma had on your body and how you can use your body to heal deeply rooted pain. We can also use a variety of creative methods to help you alleviate the suffering and find serenity you have been looking for.

Whatever the cause of your trauma, and whether it happened years ago or yesterday, you can make healing changes and move on with your life.
